- The 2025 Land Cruiser gets a mild interior update highlighted by a new instrument cluster.
- Toyota is reportedly dropping the option of a BluRay and CD/DVD player entirely.
- The refreshed SUV, which is not sold in the US, is expected to debut in the first half of 2025.
The Toyota Land Cruiser 300-Series is a legend in its own right, and still the go-to choice for those who want an indestructible vehicle that can summit mountains, tow yachts, and double as an armored fortress in a pinch. But even legends need to keep up with the times—or at least that’s Toyota’s thinking as it preps a tech update for the Land Cruiser. And now, thanks to a leaked image online, we’ve got our first peek at the refreshed interior.
A single screenshot, pulled from a video shared on Instagram by Khaled Al-Remithi in the Middle East, shows off the Land Cruiser’s new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. In this image, we can see the new digital cluster on full display, complete with graphics that, as the folks from Creative311 point out, are virtually identical to those from the screen of the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire. The current Land Cruiser 300 has a semi-digital cluster with two analog gauges and a small central screen.

Most of the updated Land Cruiser’s cabin is the same as the outgoing model and it doesn’t appear as though any changes have been made to the 12.3-inch infotainment screen. Another small update is the presence of a small climate control display in the center of the dashboard, likely displaying temperature and fan speed settings. While the existing model has physical climate control switches, the temperature is displayed on the main infotainment screen.
It’s unclear if this small display will be present across all variants. In certain markets, including Australia, lower-end variants of the existing Land Cruiser have a similar screen for the climate settings but pair this with a smaller infotainment display with older software. The Land Cruiser pictured has the flagship infotainment system and the climate screen.
In July, it was reported that several other changes were on the cards for the updated Land Cruiser 300-Series. For example, Toyota will reportedly ditch the option of a BluRay and CD/DVD deck. It could also be fitted with the latest Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 system, which adds a higher-resolution forward-facing camera and an improved radar sensor. The 300 series may also get an enhanced pre-collision system with detection for vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, and motorcyclists.
Expect Toyota to unveil this mildly updated Land Cruiser sometime in the first half of 2025.
