• The SUV will be offered with 1.5-liter turbocharged and 2.0-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid powertrains.
  • Lynk & Co has trimmed the 900’s interior in plush materials and added plenty of tech.
  • The Geely-owned brand has yet to announce pricing details for the 900.

Just a week after Lynk & Co previewed its new flagship SUV, the six-seater has been unveiled in full. Dubbed the 900, it’s expected to go on sale in China in March and will be available with three different plug-in hybrid options. Prices haven’t been confirmed, and the brand has yet to announce whether it will be sold in other markets as well.

Visually, the 900 shares some styling cues with other Lynk & Co models. Found up front are sharp LED daytime running lights, while the main headlamps are positioned lower down on the bumper. Viewed from the side, the 900 somewhat resembles a Range Rover, and while the front is quite unique, the rear end is rather generic, featuring a large tailgate and simple slim taillights connected with a light bar.

Perhaps the most intriguing part of the SUV is its cabin. In recent years, many carmakers have started to adopt single displays that house an instrument cluster and an infotainment screen. Lynk & Co has done something a little unique.

Screens, More Screens, And A Fridge

Taking pride of place on the dashboard is a 30-inch 6K floating display that includes the infotainment system and a passenger display. A thin 12.66-inch cluster and a head-up display are positioned behind the steering wheel.

 Lynk & Co’s 900 Plug-In Hybrid SUV Has Two 30-Inch 6K Screens And Up To 845 HP

Elsewhere, the Lynk & Co 900 rocks two wireless smartphone charging pads, a two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, and floating armrests on the door panels. The screens continue into the second row with a small display on the back of the center console and a second, 30-inch 6K display that folds down from the headliner. Moreover, second-row passengers have access to a slide-out fridge.

All versions of the 900 use Geely’s SPA Evo platform and measure 5,240 mm (206.2 inches) in length, 1,999 mm (78.7 inches) in width, and 1,810 mm (71.2 inches) in height. The 900 also has a generous 3,160 mm (124.4-inch) wheelbase and, according to Lynk & Co, class-leading headroom and legroom.

Plenty Of PHEV Power, From 710 To 845 Hp

Entry-level models have a plug-in hybrid setup with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired to a 215 hp (160 kW) front and a 308 hp (230 kW) rear electric motor, for a combined output of 710 hp (530 kW).

Two PHEVs using a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder are also available. The first has a 165 hp (123 kW) electric motor at the front and a 308 hp (230 kW) motor at the rear and puts out a total of 724 hp (540 kW).

The second, range-topping version, also has a 165 hp (123 kW) front motor, a pair of 215 hp (160 kW) motors at the rear, and a combined output of 845 hp (630 kW). It’s unclear how far these models can travel on battery power alone, but the most powerful variant can reportedly hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in an impressive 4 seconds.
