• Suzuki created a bunch of concepts for the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in India.
  • The Swift Champions looks like a hot hatch, and the Jimny Conqueror like an overlander.

Maruti Suzuki, the Indian arm of the Japanese automaker, has introduced a group of concepts for the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, making the Tokyo Auto Salon lineup from last week seem bland. Highlights from the Indian show include a racing-inspired Swift and a five-door Jimny ready for the wilderness.

According to the company, the concepts were created for “demonstration purposes” and to “gather customer feedback”. None of them feature any performance or chassis modifications, meaning that the upgrades are limited to accessories and fancy liveries.

Starting with the Suzuki Swift Champions Concept, it looks ready for the track thanks to sharper aero bits, new wheels with white stickers tires, and bold decals on the red bodywork.

The hatchback could pass as a successor to the soon-to-be discontinued Swift Sport, largely thanks to the rear spoiler which is combined with a splitter and a rear skirt. The aero components are finished in black, matching the wheel arch extensions and the roof. Sadly, the hot hatch stance is not combined with a much-needed power boost.

Moving on, the Suzuki Jimny Conqueror Concept communicates the rugged nature of the iconic off-roader with the help of optional accessories. The bodywork features a desert matte finish that fades to black, with Jimny 4×4 lettering on the profile.

At the front, there is a fancier grille and a body-colored skid plate, while the 16-inch alloy wheels are shod in all-terrain tires. Suzuki has also equipped the concept with a winch, a snorkel, a rear ladder, a shovel, roof rails, snow tracks, and an additional fuel tank mounted on the profile.

The rest of Suzuki’s concept lineup is focused on eye-catching exteriors, designed to gather the attention of potential buyers. The Grand Vitara Adventure features mountain-inspired 4×4 AllGrip decals, the Brezza Powerlay gets black graphics contrasting with the orange bodywork, while the Fronx Turbo touches on its sporty side with racing stripes.

Furthermore, Suzuki showed the Invicto Executive crossover minivan, which tries to look more premium with an all-beige interior and a hexagonal pattern on the seat upholstery, and the Dzire Urban Luxe sedan fitted with optional accessories. Finally, the automaker chose the Bharat Mobility Global Expo for the local debut of the fully electric Suzuki e-Vitara SUV.
