For decades, Subaru’s STI performance models have excited enthusiasts. Sure, we’re still waiting for them to release a legitimate STI version of the current WRX, but there are plenty of crazy Subarus on the used market to scratch that itch, including this bright orange Forester STI.

Out of the box, the Forester STI was a solid performer, delivering around 260 hp. However, this bright purple slice of joy has been fettled by Litchfield and now delivers 328 hp and 326 lb-ft (442 Nm) of torque. Key upgrades to the 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-4 engine include a tuned ECU, and a 3-inch Milltek exhaust .

It also rolls on the original 18-inch wheels and has gold-painted Brembo brake calipers.
The cabin is pretty basic by modern standards and the only modification is a Pioneer head unit. The front and rear seats appear to have been well-maintained for the mileage.
Piston Heads is auctioning off the car next week. While it may be out of reach for some American buyers, it could be perfect for any Subaru enthusiast in Europe.
