• The camper is powered by a two-stroke 1,158 cc inline-twin diesel engine with 31 hp.
  • A previous owner has had the van resprayed in a combination of live green and cream.

If you’re looking to hit the road in a camper van, there’s no shortage of choices, from Ford Transits to spruced-up Mercedes-Benz models and just about everything in between. But while many of these options get the job done, they rarely stand out from the crowd. Enter this customized 1955 Alfa Romeo T10 Autotutto, a van that’s anything but ordinary.

The classic Italian van was initially registered in Sicily and later converted into a spacious camper. Yes, it is an old Alfa Romeo and that does call into question its reliability, but as far as vans go, you’d be hard-pressed to find one more intriguing than this. It’s currently up for auction in Germany, and hopefully, it’ll go to a good home and is enjoyed on the open road.

Powering the T10 Autotutto is a two-stroke 1,158 cc inline-twin diesel engine supplemented by a Roots supercharger that drives the front wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The engine sits right between the driver and passenger, and when it was new, it delivered 31 hp.

The real party piece of the classic Alfa Romeo is the rear living quarters that include a small bench seat, a metal sink, a gas stovetop, cupboards, and curtains perfectly fitting of the 1950s. The roof of the van has also been raised, ensuring there’s plenty of headroom back there.

While there’s no dedicated bed, the bench seat does fold out and can double as a bed. Found up front are two dark green seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, a large central speedometer, a couple of air vents, and not much else.

31 HP Is All This 1955 Alfa Romeo T10 Camper Needs To Steal The Show

This T10 Autotutto received a fresh coat of paint during previous ownership, now sporting a combination of olive green and cream that perfectly suits its vintage vibe. It rolls on matching 16-inch steel wheels that complete its classic look.

Sure, taking this on a high-speed motorway might require nerves of steel, but for exploring picturesque European towns and winding valley roads, it’s an ideal companion. If this one-of-a-kind camper has caught your eye, you can head over to Bring a Trailer over here to place a bid.
