- Maserati has introduced an entry-level GranCabrio with a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6.
- It produces 483 hp enabling the convertible to hit 62 mph in under 4.0 seconds
- The trident brand also introduced a one-off model with a unique paint job.
Maserati has used The International Concours of Elegance St. Moritz to introduce an entry-level version of the GranCabrio as well as a one-off model based on the GranCabrio Trofeo. The latter is known as the ICE and it was created by the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program.
Starting with the entry-level variant, it features a twin-turbo 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 that produces 483 hp (360 kW / 490 PS) and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque. Thanks to all-wheel drive and what we presume is an eight-speed automatic transmission, the GranCabrio can accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds and onto a top speed of 188 mph (302 km/h).

Maserati was coy on specifics, but the model comes equipped with LED headlights and an air suspension as well as staggered 20- and 21-inch wheels. The four-seat interior sports perforated leather seats as well as a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and an 8.8-inch comfort display.
Pricing and equipment will vary by market, but the Italian version starts at €169,600 ($177,440) and offers an assortment of options. Key among them is a Sonus premium audio system, a head-up display, and a Comfort Pack that adds ventilated front seats, HomeLink, and a wind deflector.
Moving onto the one-off GranCabrio Trofeo, it’s dedicated to “winter charm” and features a unique Liquid tri-coat exterior that is reminiscent of a frozen lake. This effect is amplified by Gloss White accents as well as forged wheels that are backed up by gloss blue brake calipers.
Rounding out the highlights are a Blue Marine soft top and an ice-colored interior with contrasting black accents. The latter look is echoed by carbon fiber trim.
Since it’s based on the GranCabrio Trofeo, the one-off model has an upgraded Nettuno V6 producing 542 hp (405 kW / 550 PS) and 479 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque. This lowers the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time to 3.6 seconds, while also increasing the top speed to 196 mph (316 km/h).
Aside from the two new cars, Maserati announced minor changes for the grand tourers. The GranCabrio’s color palette has been “revamped and extended,” while the Trofeo coupe and convertible can be outfitted with a new sports exhaust system starting in March. The latter promises “purer and more adrenaline-fuelled sounds.”
