- Japanese tuner Result Japan has unveiled extensive visual modifications for the Toyota GR Yaris.
- The kit includes ultra-wide fenders, a splitter, and a custom rear bumper with additional vents.
- The demo car features quad tailpipes and extra pipes protruding from holes in the rear bumper.
The Toyota GR Yaris has already cemented itself as a rally-bred hot hatch, but that hasn’t stopped tuners from pushing its aggressive styling even further. Among the many aftermarket body kits available, Result Japan’s latest widebody kit takes things to an entirely new level.
At first glance, this GR Yaris looks like something straight out of a digital render, but it’s very much real. The standout feature of the build is the ultra-wide fenders that dramatically reshape the three-door hatchback. These aren’t subtle flares as they extend the front by 90 mm (3.5 inches) and the rear by a massive 130 mm (5.1 inches), giving the car a stance closer to a supercar, complete with integrated vents for extra flair.

Beyond the fenders, the kit includes a large front splitter, a vented hood, and aggressive side skirts that match the widened proportions. From the rear, the transformation is even more extreme. A half-spoiler connects to an optional GT-style wing, evoking time-attack racer vibes. The rear bumper isn’t just for show either as it features additional cooling intakes and a new diffuser with aerodynamic extensions
As if that weren’t enough, the demo vehicle is fitted with a custom exhaust system featuring quad tailpipes with a burnished effect, plus additional pipes protruding through holes in the rear bumper. It’s unclear whether those pipes serve any functional purpose beyond boosting the car’s head-turning appeal, but the exhaust sound is undeniably wild. Notably, this setup, like the aftermarket alloy wheels, is not included in the commercially available body kit.
Result Japan unveiled their GR Yaris build at the recent Tokyo Auto Salon, where it shared the stage with Toyota Gazoo Racing’s own mid-engine GR Yaris prototype. That got us wondering if this body kit could work on the prototype as well. Given the massive rear wing, wider track, and additional cooling intakes, a mid-engine “hyper hatch” could certainly put all that extra aero to good use.
How Much Does It Cost?
For those interested, the kit is available to order now, with the first shipments expected between March and April 2025. According to Result Japan’s website, pricing starts at ¥594,000 ($3,800) for the basic kit. Optional extras include a vented hood for ¥99,000 ($630), “eyelids” for ¥13,200 ($85), and the GT-style rear wing for ¥198,000 ($1,300). The price for the wheels and exhaust remains undisclosed, and installation, which is strongly recommended to be handled by professionals, is not included in these costs.
While the kit was designed for the facelifted GR Yaris, the demo car was actually based on a modified pre-facelifted example from 2021. This means the visual modifications are compatible with all versions of the hot hatch, provided they’re paired with the facelifted front bumper. Additionally, Result Japan offers a more understated version without the wide fenders, as well as an alternative rear wing option.
