- A car enthusiast received a fine and multiple letters from his homeowners association.
- Since then, he’s been gradually escalating his response by pushing the HOA’s rules.
- Now, he’s running for HOA president while continuing to troll the establishment.
Homeowners associations (HOAs) are supposed to keep neighborhoods looking tidy and property values stable, but they often do so in ways that seem less about preserving charm and more about flexing unnecessary authority. A small group of content creators in Georgia just became intimately familiar with that dynamic.
After their HOA complained about one of their cars being parked on the grass, the group decided to respond—not by moving the car, but by trolling the HOA in three creative ways.

To be clear, this wasn’t a case of a car fully parked on the front lawn like it’s waiting to be part of a used car lot. No, the issue was that the car’s tires were sitting about six inches over the grass line. That minor infraction was enough to draw the HOA’s ire. But the complaint didn’t stop there.
To make matters worse, the HOA also took issue with one of the group’s body-swapped car projects, labeling it “inoperable” and claiming it had flat tires. As you can imagine, the team over at Prodigy TV wasn’t thrilled about getting fined over a handful of inches and some mischaracterized car troubles.
Not Quite “Inoperable”
More importantly, they were even more upset that the car was dubbed inoperable since it runs just fine. On top of that, it didn’t have flat tires, but instead was simply left leaning hard onto one side thanks to its hydraulic actuators. In an effort to poke a bit of fun at the HOA, the team decided to do a few things.

First, it filmed a video of the “inoperable” car driving down the road while the hydraulics did their thing. Not only did the entire neighborhood get a good look at it riding down the road, the owner posted the video to the HOA Facebook page. And just to seal the deal, they topped it off with a vanity plate delivering a not-so-subtle jab at the HOA.
Taking Things Up a Notch
But the story doesn’t stop with a cheeky license plate. The team then started adding wild-looking contraptions that are technically legal under the HOA bylaws. That includes a jacked-up, monster-truck-style Smart car, an Amish buggy with an inflatable horse, and a Lincoln limo to the fleet.
At this point, the homeowner decided the best way to tackle the problem was from the inside. He’s now planning to run for HOA president, aiming to roll back some of the more over-the-top regulations that sparked this whole situation in the first place.

In fact, in their latest video, the HOA president allegedly called the police on them only for it to backfire. Since the HOA doesn’t own the roads, it has zero jurisdiction over what homeowners can do. So now, rather than be forced to only park in the carport, this owner can park whatever he wants on the street.
