Car dealerships are coming under attack with alarming regularity and the latest incident occurred on Saturday at a CarMax in Inglewood, California. It caused extensive damage and left eight people injured.
According to KABC, a customer was getting an appraisal on their Subaru Outback and was apparently upset with the offer. He then left the dealership, got back into his wagon, and then attempted to drive through the front door.

After a couple of attempts, he successfully managed to drive into the building. He then knocked down furniture, before driving out the other side of the dealership. NBC Los Angeles reports 25-year-old Andrew Arroyo then drove to the Los Angeles Police Department Academy, where he turned himself in.
Eight people were injured in the chaos and two of them were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. However, most of the injuries were minor and six victims were treated on the scene.
In a statement, CarMax said “We are deeply saddened by this event and our hearts go out to everyone impacted.” They went on to thank authorities for their “swift response to this terrible event.”
The Inglewood attack comes shortly after a similar incident in Gainesville, Florida. In that case, a 20-year-old driver attempted to buy a BMW M4 CS, but reportedly freaked out after failing to pass a credit check. He then went back to his vehicle, circled the dealership twice, and drove it into the showroom.
