- DOGEQuest appears to expose personal details of certain Tesla owners.
- The website’s data is often limited and can sometimes be inaccurate.
- Owners can request the removal of their data after selling the vehicle.
Tesla and its customers have felt the wrath of Elon Musk’s political transformation, but things have taken a scary turn. According to reports, a doxing site has been launched with names and addresses of Tesla owners.
We had intermittent issues accessing the site, but it’s known as DOGEQuest and bills itself as the “ultimate hub for enthusiasts of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).” It then mockingly says they connect “like-minded Tesla owners with one another, facilitating a vibrant community through shared contact information.”

The latter is a not so subtle reference to the site posting the alleged names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of Tesla owners in the United States. DOGEQuest then seemingly encourages vandalism as it says, “If you’re on the hunt for a Tesla to unleash your artistic flair with a spray can, just step outside.” However, the site later claims it “neither endorses nor condemns any actions,” but rather empowers “creative expressions of protest.”
The website says it will remove the information of owners upon request. However, they’ll need to send an e-mail as well as “proof that you’ve sold your Tesla.”

That’s alarming, but the website doesn’t have a lot of information about owners. Quite the opposite as there are multiple Tesla customers in my neighborhood and the map doesn’t even show a single one in my entire city.
The site was noticed by 404 Media, which said they were able to verify some of the information. However, they noted the map isn’t always accurate.

Aside from showing the alleged location of Tesla stores, customers, and superchargers, the site lists people that reportedly support or are connected to DOGE. This appears to include Kash Patel, who was recently named FBI director.

While the amount of information on the website appears limited, it’s undoubtedly concerning to those listed. It also sparks a number of questions with the biggest being how was this information obtained and who’s behind the website.
Those answers remain elusive, but attacks against Tesla have become a common occurrence as of late. A dealership in Oregon has been shot up twice, while multiple vehicles have been vandalized or set on fire.
