Porsche VIP clients get the chance to buy a 911 GT3 RS new and the first owner of this example got a bit carried away when specifying his car, as this one had an MSRP of almost $330,000, after checking several expensive option boxes. Still, enthusiasts are clamoring to get their hands on a GT3 RS, and this one is already shaping up to sell for well over its original sticker price.
The most remarkable thing about this Porsche is the color. Ordered through Porsche’s Paint to Sample program and priced at $20,960, the color of this GT3 RS is known as Viola Purple Metallic. It’s complemented by the $33,520 Weissach Package that adds a carbon-composite roof, carbon mirrors, new front and rear anti-roll bars, forged magnesium wheels, and several other interior and exterior pieces in carbon.

Other options include an extended-range 23.7-gallon fuel tank, Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes with black calipers ($10,110), a $3,670 front axle lift system, and blacked-out LED Matrix headlights ($4,010). It was also optioned with the $1,360 extended Race-Tex package and a $1,600 Bose audio system.
Despite paying for the optional Bose system, the owner paid a Californian firm $16,213 to install a custom audio system, which includes a new 12-channel amplifier, a subwoofer, Focal speakers, and new sound deadening.
The fabulous engine has been left untouched. That means this GT3 RS‘ high-revving 4.0-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six still offers 518 hp and 342 lb-ft of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission.
