We have our first image of the Geneva-bound McLaren 675LT and even though we’re looking at it in low-res, it still looks like it’s going to be a beast on the track.
The 675LT will make its official debut at next month’s Geneva Motor Show, but according to Autogespot, we can expect more pictures to arrive soon.
By the looks of it, it’s worth the wait. This type of car always is. It packs a twin turbo 3.8 liter V8, with an output of 666 BHP (or 675 PS – hence its name). It’s not a huge increase in power compared to the 650S, but we’re also looking at optimized aerodynamics (40% increase in downforce) as well as torque delivery, which is why we can expect this thing to get to 62 mph in under 3 seconds.
Aesthetically we can see a redesigned rear end, which we were expecting knowing that the car is a throwback to the classic McLaren F1 GTR Long-Tail. We also notice the awesome looking new alloys with the orange calipers, a new diffuser and a rear wing similar in function to that of the LaFerrari.
Allegedly we can also expect a video of the car to be released next week, showcasing more of its exhaust note and active aerodynamics.
