Seat has released full details of the Leon ST Cupra ahead of its official world debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month. The performance estate is also featured in a new photo gallery, which highlights the model’s different available versions.

Just like the Leon SC Cupra and the five-door version, the Leon ST Cupra is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 265PS (261hp) in the standard version and 280PS (276hp) in the Cupra 280 model. Both versions produce 350Nm (258lb-ft) of peak torque from 1,700 to 5,600 rpm.

These figures allow the Seat Leon ST Cupra 280 to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6 seconds flat when mated to the optional DSG transmission (6.1 seconds with the six-speed manual gearbox). The standard Seat Leon ST Cupra is only slightly slower – 6.1 seconds with the DSG and 6.2 seconds with the manual. Both models have an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

For those looking for even more sportiness, Seat offers the optional Performance Pack, which includes a high-performance 4-piston Brembo brake system with 370 x 32 mm perforated front discs, exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels painted black or orange with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, as well as side trim strips.

Seat also allows customers to further customize their Leon ST Cupra 280s with the White Line, Black Line and Orange Line of exclusive colors. As a result, the mirror housings, front grille frame, rims and Cupra logo on the rear lid can all be personalized, being available in a choice of White, Black or the Orange hue that is the typical Cup Racer Orange used in competitive events.
