The Infiniti booth at this week’s Chicago Auto Show won’t surprise those who are familiar with what’s new in the automotive industry. The Japanese luxury car manufacturer has announced three models for the show, neither of which is an all-new or facelifted model.

We begin with the QX80 Limited, a special edition of the full-size luxury SUV that was first unveiled at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The gigantic SUV combines unique exterior highlights with a more luxurious interior and new entertainment and safety technology.

The bodywork features smoked headlights and taillights, dark chrome accents on the fog light surround, side vents, roof rails and crossbars, dark chromed 22-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and stainless steel running board caps with rubber grips.

The dark chromed interior includes semi-aniline Truffle Brown quilted leather appointments, open pore matte finish ash wood trim, Ultrasuede headliner and pillars, leather-covered grab handles and speaker grilles, unique floor and trunk mats and unique silver switchgear trim on the center stack.

The list of standard features ranges from the Theater and Deluxe Technology Packages, to a series of safety systems like the Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range) and Blind Spot Warning (BSW).

The Infiniti QX80 Limited is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 producing 400hp and 413lb-ft (560Nm)of torque, paired to a standard 7-speed auto and all-wheel drive with Auto, 4H and 4L modes.

Besides the QX80 Limited, Infiniti will also display the extended wheelbase version of its flagship performance luxury sedan, the Q70L – also premiered at last year’s New York Auto Show.

Finally, the automaker will unveil a newly available Performance Wheel Package for the 2015 Q50 sedan which includes 19-inch RAYS superlight forged aluminum-alloy wheels.
