Have you ever wondered how fast a vehicle fire can spread in an enclosed parking garage without sprinklers?
The answer to that question is much faster than you might imagine, as evidenced by the following experiment recorded on film.
After igniting a small fire on the driver seat of a Renault Espace, all it took was four minutes for the French MPV to be completely engulfed in flames, while a minute later, the fire had already spread to the Peugeot 308 parked right next to it. Another 4 minutes and the second car was toast.
