Let’s face it; when it comes to cars, some mods are great, some are pointless and others are just plain silly – which can be either good or bad.
In the case of this Subaru BRZ reviewed by TheSmokingTire, we’re going to say that it features some fantastic mods, such as a Vortech centrifugal supercharger, as well as suspension, brakes, wheels and tire upgrades.
The car in this video puts out 325 hp from its 4 cylinder 2.0 liter engine and since it was already capable of hitting 62 mph in 7.6 seconds (that was with 200 hp) thanks mostly to its really low weight (1,314kg), we’re guessing that the modifications have turned it into a regular rear-wheel drive dynamo.
It looks as though these mods have not only made this Subaru faster but have also given it a much quicker throttle response time. As for the supercharger itself, it set the owner of the car back about $5,000, which is a small price to pay in order to turn your sporty car into a real sports car.
Throughout the video, nobody mentioned its exact 0-62 mph time, but it should easily be a mid 5 second car.
