One would think that a person who has long commutes to do on a regular basis would go for an economical and comfortable car, and that is true probably 99 percent of the time.
One of the exceptions that prove the rule is Mark, a man who drives a Corvette C5 literally all the time. He uses it frequently to get from Florida to Georgia and back for business reasons, and has been doing so since he bought the car new. Since then, he has put 650,000 miles (1.04 million kilometers) on it – it could possibly be the highest mileage ever put on a Corvette.
It’s the fifth Corvette he’s owned, and it looks really good considering it has covered more than half a million miles.
You can find out more (only just) about the car from the following video narrated by the owner himself. Unfortunately, he doesn’t give details about maintenance and replaced parts, but we’re guessing the list has to be quite long. If you know more about this car, please share the information with us.
