Two men have converted a 1969 Cadillac Coupe DeVille into a real life car pool that can reach 50 mph (80 km/h) while full of water.
Phil Weicker and Duncan Forster have technically built the world’s fastest hot tub, which even bubbles while the car is running.
Baptized “The Carpool DeVille,” the vehicle was built by the two engineers based on a prototype created when they were engineering students at McMaster University, Canada. Although they only spent $800 to buy the car, a lot more went into the six-year restoration that included upgrades to its heating, suspension, controls and pool plumbing.
