You may remember we gave you the full story on Brazil’s 828 Dacon, a mini Porsche 928 replica, well this is what a modern take on it could look like. It seems to use new Smart headlights and Porsche Macan rear lights, but the general shape seems about right.
The body preserves some of the styling cues of the 828 Dacon, although there’s something not quite perfect about the look of the front end. Maybe AutoProjecoes could have adapted some Porsche front lights too, and made them fit the design.
At least the doors retain the 928-esque cutout which was meant to prevent scraping against high curbs – a nice touch.
Let’s hope nobody working for the design department of a Chinese manufacturer sees this – who knows, they might actually put it into production and sell it as their own…
