We already know that Lexus came out as the king of reliability in Consumer Reports’ recent survey. It was followed by non-premium brands, and now CR has released a video highlighting which luxury names are worth going for if you don’t want to make too many trips to the shop…

It reminds us that Audi did really well in the overall standings, and that none of their current models fared any worse than “average.” BMW, on the other hand, did have one model that fell below, and sadly for them it was their most popular one – the 3-Series.

So, if you want all-out reliability from your posh motor, choose either a Lexus, Acura, Audi, Porsche or Volvo. All their models were rated “average” or above.

However, they advise you stay away from Infiniti and its “increasing problems” – the new Q50 is not doing great at all…
