Audi’s Prologue concept car will obviously be the main attraction of the automaker’s LA Auto Show booth this year, but the Germans have prepared another world debut for the event.
Audi announced that it will unveil the Audi A7 Sportback H-Tron Quattro technology demonstrator, which is a plug-in hybrid with hydrogen fuel cell.
It appears that hydrogen fuel cell vehicles are the next big thing in alternative drive technologies, as Toyota has just announced the Mirai fuel cell vehicle will go on sale next year and Honda is also preparing a production model for 2016.
There are no details about Audi’s A7 Sportback H-Tron Quattro study, but we’ll have all the details tomorrow from 6:00 p.m. (CET), when Audi’s LA press conference is scheduled to start.
In addition to the Prologue study and the fuel cell car, Audi’s LA Auto Show stand will also host several U.S. debuts including the Audi TTS Coupé, Audi TT Roadster, Audi R8 competition and Audi S7 Sportback.
