Here’s one more picture of Daimler’s super luxurious Mercedes-Maybach S-Class that will be celebrating its world premiere in Guangzhou and Los Angeles this week.
This latest cropped photo reveals the quarter rear window and the C-pillar that bears the Maybach emblem. We already know from the previous official shots that the car will have plush seating for two with individual electrically adjustable rear seats that look similar to the ones used on the discontinued Maybach 57 and 62.
According to the German firm, “Mercedes‑Maybach is not an equipment line – it is a sub-brand that in future will deliver Mercedes-Benz vehicles in an even more exclusive form”.
As evidenced from earlier prototypes, the Mercedes-Maybach S600 will ride on an extra-long-wheelbase version of the S-class, with power to come from the Stuttgart brand’s twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 engine.
The Mercedes-Maybach S600 will be followed the next year by an even longer and equally luxurious Pullman edition, believed to have seating for up to six passengers.
