Saying that a car is “typically Italian” and from the 1970s usually signals a list of familiar foibles: bad electrics, badly made and far too many concessions made in the name of style.

The Lamborghini Urraco doesn’t disappoint here, and it’s a real chore to keep one on the road today and constantly in working order.

It’s funny how its owner says that it will inevitably fail, regardless of you leaving it sitting or driving it regularly. Think of it like one of those old monumental Gothic cathedrals one side of which is always covered in scaffolding and being restored – this is pretty much that, but with cars.
