If you still want to grab a Porsche 918 Spyder, you might have missed your chance while you were debating whether to buy it or a house.
The planned production run of just 918 of the limited edition hybrid supercar is reaching its end, according to a Porsche North America exec who told Automotive News the run is expected to end in July, and the car is sold out until April.
It seems like just yesterday Porsche was teasing us with footage of the prototype 918 blitzing the Nürburgring and journalists being bewildered by its explosive power.
It’s been a fun run, Porsche 918. And if you stood on the sidelines and did something responsible with the $900,000-or-so burning a hole in your pocket, well too bad for you.
