Citroen is taking…the Citroen out of its DS products with their new Paris Motor Show Divine Concept for a sportive compact model.
The French said that the Divine wasn’t made to point to a specific vehicle but rather to show the independent DS brand’s future styling and technological direction and how it will distance itself from Citroen’s more mainstream offerings.
Design elements like the curved surfaces, strong front wings, sculpted sides, floating diamond motifs and possibly even the dramatic roof, could find their way on the brand’s future models.
Inside, there’s a high-tech cockpit featuring an array of digital functions, complete with a 3D head-up display.
The study is 4.21m long, 1.98m wide and 1.35m tall. It draws power from a 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol unit delivering 270PS (267hp) and 330Nm of torque to the front wheels, while emitting 145g/km of CO2.
