One of the world’s great motor shows kicked off in Paris on October 2 (for the press) showcasing the latest in production cars and concept models.

Headline debutants at this year’s Paris Motor Show include the hot Mercedes-AMG GT coupe, Jaguar’s 3-Series rivalling XE sedan, the fourth generation of the Mazda MX-5 roadster and Land Rover’s promising Discovery Sport SUV – that’s not even counting a number of surprise debuts such as Lamborghini’s mystery supercar.
