Monaco isn’t your typical place for automotive scoops, but it happens and we’re pleased to say that one of our readers was there to capture a 2016 Porsche Cayman tester.
The cosmetic revisions are on the mild side, but as with the recently updated Cayenne, there could be more changes in store than what we assume will be updated, such as the re-profiled bumpers, revamped headlamps, and Porsche’s new style “3D” tail light clusters.
We could be in for a surprise in regards to the mechanical updates, as despite Porsche officials denying the use of their new four-cylinder turbocharged boxer engines on this generation of the Boxster roadster and Cayman coupe, reports from Germany insist that they will break ground on the refreshed models.
Both the Boxster and Cayman facelift are believed to debut at next year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.
Many thanks to our friend Andor I. for sharing the spy shots!
