Hyundai has released two renderings of the new H350 cargo van for European markets, which will debut this autumn at the IAA Commercial Vehicles show in Hannover, Germany.
Developed specifically for the European market, the new light commercial vehicle is based on a flexible platform that can support three body styles: panel van, passenger bus and flatbed truck. Hyundai says the H350 provides “superior cabin and cargo storage capacities,” up to 1.4 tonnes payload and 2.5 tonnes towing capacity.
The design of the Hyundai H350 features styling cues from the Korean automaker’s passenger car lineup, including the hexagonal grille integrated into the front bumper and the headlamps which flank the grille and feature LED daytime running lights.
Side mouldings run down the flanks to the rear, incorporating the sliding side door and segmenting the cargo van’s panels. The new H350 will be build in Turkey by Karsan Otomotiv Sanayil ve Ticaret A.S, a long-term commercial vehicle production partner of Hyundai Motor Company.
The world premiere of the new van is scheduled for September 24 at the Hannover show, but Hyundai will also display it at the Paris Auto Show alongside the all-new i20 family.
