Even though the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT hasn’t been unveiled yet, we know a lot of things about it thanks to the numerous teasers released by the automaker.

We know, for example, that it will be powered by an all-new 4.0-liter twin-turbo AMG V8 engine producing up to 510 PS (503 hp) at 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque from 1,750 to 4,750 rpm.

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed it will offer the AMG GT in a lower powered version producing 462 PS (456 hp). The automaker also announced that the sports car’s online reveal will take place on September 9, ahead of its public debut at the Paris Auto Show in October.

The following teaser video offers some interesting figures related to the car’s development testing. Mercedes says the AMG GT has seen 32 months of engineering road tests, which took place in 15 countries with 50 test drivers.
