In its ambitious bid to end crash fatalities by 2020, Volvo has opened a new proving ground just to test their safety technologies.
The AstaZero Proving Ground basically replicates every driving environment and allows Volvo to refine its safety features and how they work in real-world situations. The company says it also allows them to use robots to drive cars in certain tests.
Volvo says AstaZero is key to its development of next-generation safety features and the ones that will get the company to its goal that no one will be killed or seriously injured in a Volvo crash by 2020.
