Despite going out of favor as a style after World War II, art deco design still continues to send reverberations in architecture and industrial design even today.

As you can imagine, the closer you go back to its glory days, the more prominent it becomes, and, in 1957, Flxible created the Starliner, a stunningly designed motorhome whose design was all art deco.

However, they never made that many of them and reportedly, there are only a handful left. One is for sale in Easley, South Carolina, and the owner is asking $235,000 for it.

It comes with a modern Cummins turbocharged diesel engine and six-speed double-overdrive autobox. The seller says it’s even capable of hitting 80 mph or 128 km/h.

Other novel technical features include BF Goodrich-developed “rubber torsion bar suspension,” which is fully-independent on all corners.

Aside from that, it has the usual luxury amenities you’d imagine finding, with various modern touches that have been added in the over half a century since it was made.
