There’s just something undeniably cool about the Slingshot, a proper front-engined, rear wheel-driven roadster that also happens to be weather-proof, good looking and a three-wheeler.
The company that makes it, Polaris, is best known for its ATVs, buggies and snowmobiles, and that background shows in the execution of the Slingshot.
The three-wheeled vehicle is designed to go around corners well and has competent, snappy handling, according to the reviewer at Motorcycle. Even if he shows he’s more knowledgeable about bikes than cars, the presentation of the Slingshot is pretty complete and in-depth.
We will wait for some actual car folks to really give it a thrashing, but until then do check out the video review posted after the virtual jump. It features a detailed presentation of the features, both inside and out, as well as driving impressions – one thing’s for sure: like all these single-wheel-at-the-back vehicles, there’s always going to be a bit of looseness through corners…
