Talk about a bad day getting worse; a young owner of a blacked-out Mustang was pulled over by a police officer in Montgomery County, Texas, at around 2:30 pm on June 20, 2014, but that’s only part of the story.
The deputy had previously spotted the Mustang speeding on the opposite direction. According to the Montgomery County Police Reporter (MCPR), the Mustang driver had seen the lights and had already pulled over to the shoulder of the road.
During the stop, the driver told the cop that a truck “had been following so close had passed on the right earlier and thrown a beer bottle at his passenger door”.
The officer then took the man’s driver’s license and reportedly tried to locate said truck through his patrol car’s computer when all of a sudden, another truck came smashing into the side of the Mustang!
MCPR said that the truck driver “spilled his 32 ounce Coke in his lap, distracted by this event, he ran off the edge of the roadway missing the patrol car by inches and slamming into the Mustang”.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, but just to add insult to injury, the pickup truck motorist did not have insurance…
H/T to Jalopnik!
