You don’t have to pay the equivalent of $52,500 for a good Audi RS2 Avant, the hot version of its 80 wagon, but that’s what this one is being advertised for.

Finished in Nogaro Blue that looks in perfect condition after a full restoration, and riding on factory Porsche Cup wheels through which you can spot the big red calipers, this particular car is presented by the seller as being ‘the second nicest one in the world,’ after the one Audi itself showcases in its Ingolstadt museum.

The price is so high because when the car was restored, only OEM parts were used – even the replaced license plate bulb holders are original, as well as the nuts, clips and fasteners that were used throughout…

Adding to its value is its very low mileage: 37,000 km or 23,125 miles; the engine hasn’t been overhauled in a major way, though, having only been properly serviced, with filters and fluids changes as per the manufacturer’s recommendation.

The car was advertised in a VW Vortex forum post (via BAT) and is located in the Ottawa/Gatineau region of Canada.
