The Manhart MH2 400 Clubsport means business. It’s a track-day racer based on the BMW M235i, but features extensive upgrades and modifications in order to fulfill its racing duties.

It has a completely revised suspension system, noticeably more power from the engine, new brakes, new wheels and a de-limited top speed meaning it can sail past 300 km/h or 186 mph.

Power from the six-cylinder engine has been increased from the 320 hp it originally came with from the factory to 430 hp, plus a boosted torque output of 592 Nm. It also features a custom exhaust system, which hopefully, negates the need to pipe fake acceleration noises through the speakers…

The car rides noticeably lower, featuring an in-house kit that completely changes the alignment of the wheels – this may have quite important effects on the car’s road behavior – it’s what usually gets modified to dial in more or less oversteer and other driving characteristics.

Stopping power is ensured by six-piston brakes up front, with special pads, plus the 225-section front and 255-section rear tires, measuring 19 inches on both axles.

Standard seating arrangement is completely ripped out. In their place, we find a Recaro Pole Position full-shell seat with four-point harness, while in the back the bench seat is gone as well.

Obviously, it’s still completely street legal and probably a hoot to drive on the roads… of Germany… where they have no speed limits, or wherever they have a deficit of traffic cops to chase you down.
