It turns out it was the 2015 Navara/Frontier that Nissan was hiding under semi-translucent covers. While still not officially revealed, we found a couple of unofficial photos of the new pickup, which was spotted completely uncovered in Thailand.
We no longer have to wait for the June 11 debut to see all of the new Navara and its very noticeable LED daytime running lights. The entire front looks quite modern, bearing a close resemblance to the new Nissan Terrano. The back is much more restrained than the bold front, though it’s clearly been freshened up compared to its predecessor.
AutoIndustriya (the source of the photos) says the Navara gets its power from a 2.5-liter diesel with 190 PS and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft). It’s basically an older Renault unit that has been upgrade over the years and is found throughout Nissan’s range of off-roaders and pick-ups.
