After sister company Citroen announced pricing for the new C1, it’s Peugeot’s turn to tell us how much it wants for the 108 city car, and unsurprisingly, it also starts from £8,245 on the road for the 1.0-litre Access three-door.

Moving up the range you will find the Active model that begins at £9,495, the Allure that starts at £10,995 and the Feline at £11,845.

If you prefer a rollover cloth top over your head, 108 TOP! Cabrio models are priced from £10,345 for the 1.0-litre Active three-door (a £850 premium over the regular hatch), rising to £12,245 for the 1.2-litre Allure five-door.

The 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine produces 68bhp with 95g/km of CO2 or 88g/km with Stop and Start, while the 1.2-litre PureTech VTi has 82bhp with 99g/km of CO2. Both engines come with a standard five-speed manual transmission, with the smaller 1.0L unit also offering the option of a 2-Tronic semi-automatic gearbox.

All versions of the 108 come fitted as standard with LED daytime running lights, remote central locking, USB/aux connection for external audio players with steering wheel-mounted controls, six airbags, ESP stability control and two rear ISOFIX mountings.

Active models get colour-coded exterior trim, air-conditioning, height-adjustable driver’s seat, a 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system with DAB digital radio, and Bluetooth, while the Allure adds 15-inch wheels, fog lights, auto headlamps, leather steering and gear knob, reverse camera, keyless entry and engine start/stop button.

At the top end of the range is the Feline trim that gets leather upholstery, chrome door handles and mirrors, plus automatic dual zone air conditioning.

Peugeot says it also offers a wide range of “high-value” personalisation options.
