Jaguar North America continues its “British Villains” marketing campaign with a new two-minute film featuring renowned actor Tom Hiddleston. Titled “The Art of Villainy,” the new commercial showcases the Jaguar F-Type Coupe, and continues to promote the brand’s hashtag #GoodToBeBad.

The follow-up to the “Rendezvous” Super Bowl commercial begins with Hiddleston driving the F-Type Coupe, while listening to the words of John of Gaunt in Richard II by William Shakespeare.

The actor then offers a definition of a villain with the help of the Jaguar F-Type Coupe, including a practical guide of how to provoke a Porsche 911 into a spin. The spot ends with another Shakespearean quote from Richard II, this time spoken by Hiddleston as he drives through London: “This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England.”

“In pairing Tom’s recitation of the classic words of England’s most famous playwright, William Shakespeare, with the British sophistication of Jaguar, we are able to showcase the new F-Type Coupe in an unforgettable manner,” said Jeff Curry, Brand Vice President, Jaguar North America.

The film is accompanied by four 30-second videos that highlight the features of the F-Type Coupe in a voice-over that retains the “British Villains” theme.
