People are scared of all sorts of things, from the rational, such as heights and wild animals, to the irrational, like fear of puppets (no, seriously, and it’s called Pupaphobia, look it up), or in the case of Celia, tumbleweed – yes, tumbleweed. And to make things worse, Celia was driving in night when dried out plants…viciously attacked her car.
Luckily, her boyfriend, YouTube user “stevecash83“, was there to lighten up the situation and help as much as possible – partially by recording everything on his iPhone.
Steve mentions: “My girlfriend having a panic attack while driving through tumbleweeds at night. Phobias are serious, but I just couldn’t stop laughing! Although it was pretty hilarious when they started growing in numbers, if I found myself in the middle of a million of my greatest fear, I think I would freak out too.”
And yes, Celia did give her stamp of approval for the video, as pointed out in a comment by Steve:
“Celia (my gf & driver in the video) watched this video before I posted it and she was happy to share the experience online! For what it’s worth she thinks its funny now. She was genuinely horrified at the time, but I guess she had never driven through tumbleweeds before, which made this a one of a kind video. I tried to calm her, but the laughter was too much for me! A freaking priceless memory caught on film!”
