Kia has released a teaser photo of a new concept car that will debut at the Detroit Auto Show (January 13-26, 2014). The Korean automaker didn’t provide many details about the study, other than it’s a 2+2 sports car concept conceived and designed by its California-based team at Irvine.
According to the automaker’s press release, the unnamed study “is aimed at delivering head-turning looks whilst providing superb driving enjoyment whether on the road or at the track”.
The “aerial” photo only reveals that the car is a two-door fastback coupe with bulged wheel arches. That’s enough to keep us interested, we’ll give them that.
The study’s world premiere will take place on Monday January 13 at the Kia stand. Let’s just hope Kia won’t keep us waiting until then and will provide some more information about the study soon.
