Following the world debut of the 2015 Subaru WRX at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the carmaker has released a video that contains an in-depth look at the car’s highlights.
Narrated by Dominic Infante, Subaru of America National Manager Product Communications, the video covers all the new features of the car.
Starting with the design, this is one more painful reminder that the production WRX is a far cry from the Subaru WRX Concept revealed earlier this year at the New York Auto Show. Still, it can be considered an improvement over the previous generation.
The big news, however, is the new 2.0-liter engine which not only brings a little more power (268 hp/+3hp), but is smaller and mounted lower, which has a positive impact on the car’s handling – as does the 41 percent stiffer chassis.
Subaru says the 2015 WRX will do 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just over five seconds with the manual transmission, which sounds pretty good. Scroll down to find out what else is new on the car from the official video.
