Chevrolet will wait for the press days of the 65th edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show to come to an end on Wednesday and garner the full attention of the media for the introduction of the new generation Tahoe and its higher passenger capacity sibling, the Suburban, this Thursday, September 12.
The Detroit-based company said on a Facebook posting that the big reveal of the full-size SUVs will take place in New York City, without providing any additional information.
The body-on-frame SUVs will ride on a modified version of the same platform that underpins that latest generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks sporting newer V8 engines, with a hybrid variant also being a possibility.
Sales of the two models are expected to begin late next year.
