Two new models will soon broaden the Audi RS range of sports cars in the UK to total of eight models based on six body styles.
The new arrivals are the RS Q3 sports crossover that carries an on-the-road (OTR) price of £43,000 (equal to US$67,200 / €51,000), and the more premium RS 7 Sportback priced at £83,495 OTR (US$130,600 / €99,100). Both RS models are available to order with first deliveries in Britain scheduled for early next year.
Under the bonnet of the RS Q3 rests a 306hp (310PS) 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five linked to a seven-speed S tronic twin-clutch transmission and a quattro all-wheel drive system, powering the crossover 0-62mph (100km/h) in 5.5 seconds and on to a top speed electronically limited to 155mph (250km/h). Audi says it returns up to 32.1mpg UK on the combined cycle test, with CO2 emissions of 206g/km.
In the RS 7 Sportback, you will find a twin-turbo V8 peaking at 552hp (560PS), with an 8sp Tiptronic automatic transmission working with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system to transfer power to the road. Audi announces a 3.9-second 0-62mph acceleration time, 189mph (304 km/h) top speed and scope for 28.8mpg UK economy.
