When you own a Ferrari, it goes without saying that you want to be seen in it and you want clear roads ahead to drive it on. This is where Ferrari intervenes and makes sure their most important customers get to enjoy their sports cars by organizing parades and rallies in cities around the world – on top of track days, of course.

The latest gathering called “Tributo Ferrari New York 2013”, was organized by Ferrari North America in the “Big Apple”, where 65 owners and admirers of Ferrari road cars had the opportunity to drive them on a rally from Battery Park to Bridgehampton on the East End of Long Island. And since it was an event for the elite, the final destination was the Bridgehampton Polo Club.

Seeing 65 Ferraris take on the streets of New York must have been quite a sight, but it cannot possibly compare to actually being inside one of these cars driving from Manhattan through Times Square, Central Park South and over the Queensboro Bridge before reaching Long Island. The rally included all current Ferraris, as well as iconic models including Daytonas, F40, 275 GTB, 250 GT Series 1 Cabriolet and Dino 246.

To thank the city of New York for hosting the rally, Ferrari made a donation to New York Cares, an organization that runs volunteer projects for 1,300 nonprofits, public schools and city agencies to help people in need throughout the five boroughs. You can look at how the event unfolded in the video below.
