As you’ve probably figured out by now, it’s not easy being a traffic officer in Russia. Actually, we’d say it’s rather extremely dangerous at times. Luckily, the cop featured in this video can file the incident under the category “It could have been worse“.
The Moscow officer had stopped a driver to inspect his license, when all of a sudden, the man in the car stepped on the gas pedal to make a run for it. The cop was caught off guard and ended up on the car’s hood for 30 scary seconds, all while the stereo was playing the ‘Whiskey in the Jar’ in Russian, as noted by Jalopnik.
In the end, the driver was caught and detained and will now have some time to think about his actions behind bars – likely without music…
