We don’t profess to be experts in the laws of every state around the U.S., and for all we know, pulling out a gun while stopping a car on the highway for traffic check / violation could be legal in Arkansas, but even if it is, we can’t say that it sits well with us nor does it make us feel any safer…

Said incident took place in June during “goldRush Rally” when the drivers and passengers of a number of exotic sports and luxury cars were passing through Arkansas. State troopers had blocked the road to catch and ticket the drivers

Jason Thorgalsen, who you may remember from a video of a Ferrari F430 with bald tires spinning out of control in the rain last year, was in one of the vehicles that was pulled over and he filmed the incident.

“Last month on goldRush Rally there were some pretty crazy memories to walk away with including what you see in this video,” he explained on YouTube.

“While driving through Arkansas we noticed a state trooper checking out (or so we thought) the group of cars we were driving with. Little did we know the cop had quite the plan for us including shutting down the highway with a roadblock, drawing his weapon and pointing it directly at each driver, and citing the drivers with tickets,” he said.

“I was absolutely shocked to see the state trooper with his weapon drawn pointed at us as we approached the road block!! That’s the last time I’ll be going through Arkansas,” Thorgalsen commented.

Do watch the video of the incident with the cop grabbing his gun and then head to the comments to share your thoughts – but do keep in mind that, to have a complete picture of what went down, we would need to hear the state trooper’s side of the story as well.
