In their quest to create a convertible of every single hardtop model out in the market, Newport Convertible Engineering (NCE) spends a lot of time on Photoshop fashioning a number of designs to see if anyone would be interested in following this route.

After the Acura TL, Aston Martin Rapide and Hyundai Equus cabriolets, NEC has released a single (computer generated) image of a Nissan GT-R in convertible.

Now, while it may be an easy task to digitally remove the roof from a GT-R on a computer screen, in reality, it’s not going to be a walk in the park as you have to take into consideration the sheer power and supercar-beating performance figures of the Japanese model, all of which would necessitate the strengthening of certain parts of the car like the windshield frame, and even the addition of a roll bar for safety reasons.

All that said, do you think one should be made?
