Young heartthrob Justin Bieber just doesn’t seem to get a break when it comes to driving his notorious white Ferrari 458 Italia. In yet another mishap, Bieber was caught up in an accident in Los Angeles on Monday night involving a pedestrian, and which predictably, was captured on camera (see video below).
As reported by TMZ, 19 year-old Bieber was leaving the local comedy club Laugh Factory on Sunset Boulevard around 11:45 PM with his friend and rapper Lil Twist, getting ready to board his Ferrari. Not surprisingly, he was surrounded by paparazzi who turned the night into day with there strong camera flashes.
As Bieber turned to leave, one of them continued to take pictures and was pinned between the Ferrari 458 and a parked car on the side of the road. The young singer drove away without stopping.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reportedly launched an investigation and interviewed Bieber shortly after the incident. He told police officers that he did not know he had hit the photographer, who was not seriously hurt.
LAPD’s Lt. Craig Valenzuela told CNN that while there were concerns that Bieber may have been involved in a hit-and-run incident, “preliminary investigations indicated it was not”, with TMZ adding that the police told them that the photographer “was at fault because he was a pedestrian in the roadway”.
In January, a paparazzo was killed in LA while trying to capture a few shots of Bieber in his Ferrari.
