I can’t quite make the license plates from the cars seen in this video, but it looks like this incident happened in the U.S. or in Canada. The tan metallic Infiniti is the first of the cars you see, and along with a white Volvo XC90, it’s trying to cross an intersection at roughly the same time, from opposite directions.
However, it seems that neither of the two drivers are able to spot the fast-approaching silver sedan, which ploughs right into the side of the Swedish SUV, hurling it into the Infiniti which lightens up the mood of the crash with balloons popping out of the trunk.
I suspect that whoever was in the car was either going to or coming from a birthday party. It may have been the town clown, but since the balloons are not hand-bent into the shape of animals or amusing objects, that theory doesn’t really stand up to scrutiny.
Still, while the crash was a moderately severe one, if all those involved were strapped in with their seat belts, injuries were probably minor.
