As you would have thought, even though it’s been a month since we first laid eyes on the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro, General Motors isn’t done talking yet about the redesign of its modern-day muscle car.

This time, the microphone is passed onto the Chevrolet Camaro’s Program Engineering Manager, Mark Dickens, who has a few things to say about the redesign of the fifth generation model and how it relates to the performance improvements.

“It’s not just eye candy. It actually performs,” says Dickens. “All the styling and all the changes that were done, also were done with performance in mind. So a car that was already fast and leading on the track is going to get that much faster,” he said.

So, what do you think, was the revamp for the better, for the worse or are you still undecided? Tell us in the comments below.
